I was searching through the Webby's award page and I found this site, Immersive Garden. It belongs to a Multimedia artist name Dilshan Arukatti. The title of the site grabbed me and I was happy to discovered a really inspiring site. This is the type of site I look at and say, "I want to do that!". Dilsan's personal site is amazing on its own right. I really enjoyed the illumination effect from the single point of light along with the profound aphorisms. The following animations of flowering plants and other media is equally mind-blowing. The portfolio area is impressive and even skimming through you can see an amazing body of work. It is a very energizing site and I am happy to have found it.

I make my case
Check it out!
Ok... So I burned a good hour playing around with this site. There are so many different options! Basically its a flash run page that allows you to create a case for your phone, using a number of different artists, shapes, patterns and colors. I really enjoyed the flash on the first page that takes off wherever you move to mouse. It really makes you want to buy a 40 dollar case without even looking at the actual case!

Bunnykill
Bunnykill is a flash animation about a bunny that fights other bunnies. The animations are graphic and have a lot of blood so don't watch them if you get offended by that stuff. There are more than one of them so if you want to watch them google "bunnykill". Quote from description: "This cute little bunny rabbit with a samurai sword slashes through other bunnies in some kind of fairy tale-like forest."

Artist/ Portfolio Exploration: C.J. Yeh
My Mondrian based on my data.
myData=myMondrian is an interactive digital art piece developed by fine artist, CJ Yeh, where the final outcome is a printable work of art made to look like a painting by Piet Mondrian, but is created using the user's data.
CJ Yeh's piece was originally an interactive installation piece at the Queen Museum of Art (2004). Gallery goers were asked to type some personal information into a computer, the software then created a Mondrian like image based on the person's data. These personalized Mondrian-eque compositions were then printed out and placed on the gallery walls.
myData=myMondrian is not the only digital art piece inspired by a famous fine artist. His other digital work makes "reproductions" of Jackson Pollock , Philip Glass, Chuck Close , and Rene Magritte's work. myData=myMondrian, as well as the other fun interactive computer programs are found on CJ Yeh's website under the Digital Art link.
His website is also a great example of how flash can be used to navigate an artist's portfolio, you can use a navigator or links to browse around CJ's page. I would use the navigation, it seems to take you to pages not accessible through the links. Check out TypoGraffiti with the virtual navigator (it's to the far left, by Times Square and Penn Station), you also might want to click the small circle between the links bar.

Hello Sour Sally is a fun, interactive game-like experience for a yogurt in Jakarta, Indonesia. I was attracted to hand-drawn illustrated style and fun way to navigate the content.
